Our kids grow up so fast. Don't let these memories slip away

I get it. I'm a mom of 3 and I live in sweatpants and t-shirt and I have gotten into the bad habit of showering every couple of days. The time and effort it takes to get my 3 kids dressed and looking nice, making sure they don't mess their outfits up, and fighting them never seems worth it....until the end of the year when I'm scrolling through my phone looking for one picture of me with the kids and it doesn't exist.

Even if it's a circus getting myself and kids and my husband ready, we do it. Now, every year, when I'm looking through our memories, there's always one picture of me with the kids...and it brings THEM so much joy to have that memory with me. Like most parts of motherhood, doing our annual family session isn't about us, it's about our kids and giving them the memory of us.
